So let’s get to know a little bit more about Rachel:

Rachel Griffin

Before RE/MAX, what is the most unusual or interesting job you ever had? I’ve had lots of jobs… Always in retail. QuikTrip was a big one for me. I worked there for over 5 years. The biggest part of QT is maneuverability. I moved from store to store on the ERP program. It was lots of fun.

How did you first hear about RE/MAX Innovations? I drove by the building all the time. When another agent approached me about going to RE/ MAX, I thought she was referring to Innovations. It wasn’t but I migrated over eventually :)

If you could pick one theme for RE/MAX Innovations to turn into a book about the company, what would it be? I’m gonna go with suspense… Because you never know what’s going to happen next. Every twist and turn can take you on a joyous ride or send you in a downward spiral. Ha!

What advice do you have for prospective realtors? I get this question a lot actually… MARKET YOURSELF OR JOIN A TEAM is what I say. There’s so much knowledge in a team. I’ve learned a lot good and bad this way. Every step has taught me something useful.

What 3 words describe you best as an agent? Friend, Ninja, Pitbull – I may look innocent but lookout if we are ever up against the same house for a client ;)

What do you find most challenging about this job? Being mean lol

What do you like most about RE/MAX Innovations? The friendly atmosphere every single time I walk in those doors. I’ve never felt neglected… EVER! There’s always a helping hand right there when you need it.

What is your wish list for the next 10 years in real estate? To prosper… It’s easy being an agent when the gettin’s good. The true test comes when all the fish are gone.

What is your favorite part about working for RE/MAX Innovations? My support system. I have so many coworkers I rely on. Not one has ever steered me wrong. Thank you!

What is your favorite line from a movie? “You’re mad, bonkers, off your head. But, I’ll tell you a secret… All the best people are.” – Alice in Wonderland

Are your messy or organized? OMG messy… Ask Amber about my emails, ha!

Best Vacation ever? Well… Disneyworld… because I made it a point to take my kids there my whole life! But, I think it may be second best after Christmas this year ;)

Choose your “Little Miss” to describe your work/home personality? Little Miss Busy FO SHO All the time ha!

Do you have a favorite blog, newspaper or website? Amazon??? I buy way too much on there! lol

Do you have a nickname? Well, I don’t know if this will catch or not… But my maiden name is Russell. My nickname at school was Russell the Muscle… feel free to use that to your advantage.

Do you have any embarrassing moments at work? Well today I managed to lock my phone in a house… that was embarrassing, especially since I needed said phone to open the door. That wasn’t my brightest moment. Thanks Teri for the help!

How do you define success? Success comes when you have truly achieved what you’ve strived for most. For me that shining moment came when I became an agent. I’m not trying to be funny. I’ve always known I wanted to work in the home industry. Becoming an agent and making a life out of it has proven to honestly fulfill everything I’ve been looking for in a career. I’ve never been happier… and that, my friend, makes me feel truly successful.

Who would you like to be for a day? Freaking Joanna Gaines! Man, that woman inspires me so!

If you could be anyone from any time period who would it be? Nefertiti

If you could have any job for just one day who/what would it be? As much as I hate politics, I’ve always loved the lifestyle. So, I’d like to be a Governor, but only on a day like the Governor’s Ball. :0 )

If you could interview one person dead or alive who would it be? Maynard James Keenan from Tool/A Perfect Circle… dude seems like a smart individual… weird… but smart.

If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be? Vincent Van Gogh – He has always intrigued my soul.

If you were an animal? I’m gonna say a wallaby because I’m smaller but still fast and strong… and bouncy!

If you were on death row, last meal? I’m a sucker for sushi so I’d say sushi prepared by a professional sushi chef (his special of course) and a Kobe beef steak. Mmmmmmm!

If your house was burning down, one non-living thing you would save? My kitchen!

Least favorite food? Anything canned (GROSS)
