We are very excited to announce that Kelly Crane has joined our team of all-star agents! Please join us in welcoming her to the RE/MAX Innovations family!
Let’s get to know a little more about Kelly:
What is your favorite part about being a Realtor? There are many aspects to being a Realtor. You get to wear many different hats. The biggest aspect of being a Realtor that I love is that the clients and I get to take a collaborative approach to their real estate needs and come up with a solution to their needs. Once we find the solution we put that plan into action and watch the magic happen. There are many logistical parts that happen along the way to make it a successful transaction for the client. I am there to ensure that all of those parts come together successfully for the client to ensure they have a successful and rewarding experience during their time with me as their Realtor and with RE/MAX Innovations as their Brand.
What brought you to RE/MAX Innovations? I was brought to RE/MAX Innovations from two agents that are working here. They are both successful and love what RE/MAX Innovations has done for them and their clients. I was a client with them and was very happy and I want the same for my clients. When I sat down and met Eddy, John, and Carol I was very impressed. They took the time to explain how they could benefit me and my clients. I knew this was the perfect fit for my career as a Realtor.
What is your favorite room in a house? What??? You mean I have to pick just one? HAHA okay, If I have to pick my first choice I will go with the kitchen. Families usually have to have a good kitchen. The reason I say the kitchen is because families generally like to cook, entertain, and like a good kitchen to anchor the home. My second favorite room in the home is the family room because that room is used to relax, entertain, and spend time with family and friends.
What is your guilty pleasure? I love CRAFTING! In my spare time (like I have any!) I love to craft. I have a sewing machine, embroidery machine, and a cricut. I make t-shirts, coffee mugs, wine glasses, bags, baby quilts, etc. It is my fun creative outlet.
Are you a “Glass Half Empty” or a “Glass Half Full” kind of person? I am a glass half full person. I am a very optimistic person. I am a very happy-go-lucky person. I am the person that sees someone sad or down and tries to cheer that person up. I strive to be better at everything I do and always feel that I have room for growth and improvement. I am a team player and try to cheer others on.
If you could have a superhero power, what would it be? I think it would have to be to be like flash and be able to get to places faster. That way I could schedule more appointments and then get back to my kiddos faster!
What is the most used app on your phone or tablet? Oh geeze! I guess it would probably be Facebook.
What makes you, or has made you, the person you are today? I think it is a series of events, people, and things. I have a wonderful family that has helped shaped who I am today. I think having a positive attitude and not letting negative events or things get in the way really helps to mold me into the person that I am today.
What is your favorite thing about Kansas City? I love Kansas City because we are a City that is not too large. We have a lot to offer in the City. There are so many events that happen year round. We have several sporting teams in the city. We have great history here. We are the “city of fountains”. The Plaza and Crown Center is beautiful. We have amusement parks. We have diversity and culture. There are many parks, bike and walking trails, dog parks, and campgrounds. I could keep going on about what Kansas City has to offer. My favorite thing is that there is ALWAYS something to do with family and friends so you will never be bored.
What is a fun fact or something that most people do not know about you? I served in the Army for 6 years as a Military Police. After I got out of the Army I worked as a civilian police officer for the Federal Government and was a D.A.R.E. Officer and a Bicycle Police Officer. The best part about being a bicycle police officer is that I pulled people over in their vehicles on an actual bicycle. It looked pretty funny!
What is your favorite activity to do in Kansas City? I love the craft fairs that are held all over the city.
Favorite Beverage? used to be DR. Pepper
Favorite Book? Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
Favorite Meal? Green
Favorite Color? Pink
Favorite Band, Artist, or Song? Gwen Stephani
Favorite Sport (to play OR to watch)? I like working out at the gym
Favorite RE/MAX Innovations Memory (so far): So far I love how warm and inviting everyone has been that I have met that works here. I feel as though this is a family. One thing about being in the military is that when you are gone the military people that you work with become a family to you. It is nice in the civilian world to find somewhere that has the same feeling. That is hard to find.
