Let’s get to know a little more about Danica:
What is your favorite part about being a Realtor? The excitement of starting a new adventure!
What brought you to RE/MAX Innovations? I shared with my mother-in-law I was looking to make a change from my current profession and needed to find a local real estate agent who I could talk to about getting into the real estate business. She said, “I know a gal, she’s great!” Next thing I knew I was talking with Marcy Mathewson which led me here.
What is your favorite room in a house? The kitchen – I grew up learning how to bake from my grandmother. A nice kitchen always catches my eye. Double ovens are always a bonus!
What is your guilty pleasure? So many things…for now I’ll go with watching reality television, none of it actually seems very “real,” which is probably what I like about it!
Are you a “Glass Half Empty” or a “Glass Half Full” kind of person? Glass Half Full – Life rarely goes the way we plan. I have to keep moving forward even when presented with challenges.
If you could have a superhero power, what would it be? The power to heal. I am a healer by nature and trade. In addition to having my real estate license, I am also a licensed clinical social worker. I would love the power to heal people instantly.
What is the most used app on your phone or tablet? Wunderground
What makes you, or has made you, the person you are today? First and foremost, growing up on a farm. The farm teaches lessons that cannot be learned in a classroom. My strong work ethic and ability to get things done come from the farm.
Secondly, my 17 years of experience as a social worker. I have walked alongside people on the worst days of their life. It changes you…your perspective of the world around is forever altered.
What is your favorite thing about Kansas City? Having the conveniences of a city while still feeling like I live in a small town. Also love the KC skyline, especially when viewing it from the Liberty Memorial.
What is a fun fact or something that most people do not know about you? In high school, I regularly sang the National Anthem before varsity basketball games.
What is your favorite activity to do in Kansas City? A night out for dinner and drinks with my husband. With two children still living at home, this is a rarity! As a family we enjoy attending Mavericks and Royals games together.
